Brenner barely eludes the throng of fierce pigeons at Bodega Bay, in Alfred Hitchcock's classic horror 1963 film The Birds. Bonanza the first colour western depicted the story of the Cartwrights which were fictional families living in Virginia City Nevada, an actual mining town in the early 1800s. The actor played the younger Cartwright son who's mom (Felicia on the show's pilot, and then changed later to Marie) a widow and mother whose child had lost his life to the fever (episode Marie My Love) was from French Creole descent.
