Brooke Christa Shields was born May 31 in 1965. As a child model she was praised by critics for her main role in Louis Malle's film Pretty Baby (1978). She modelled into her teen period, and was highly praised for her role in the film of Louis Malle's Pretty Baby. Shields had a few film roles as well as a return to acting in the 1990s. She also played a prominent role in the NBC sitcoms Suddenly Susan (1996-192000), for which she won two Golden Globe nominations and Lipstick Jungle (2008)-2009. Shields was back on NBC in 2017 with a recurring role as a Law & Order: Special Victims unit character in the show's 19th Season. Shields has the role of Beverly Goodman on Adult Swim's animated series Mr. Pickles, and its spinoff Momma Named Me Sheriff. Brooke Christa Shields was a Manhattan, New York, native , born on May 31 of 1965. She is the daughter of Teri Shields, a actor and model, and Frank Shields, a businessman (1941-2003). The mother of the couple was English, German, Scotch-Irish and Welsh origin, and her father was of English, French, Irish, and Italian ancestry.According to research by William Addams Reitwiesner, Shields is a descendent of several noble families from Italy especially those from Genoa and Rome. These are namely (in chronological order of descent from 1355 to 1965) the Gattilusi-Palaiologos-Savoy, Grimaldi, Imperiali, Carafa, Doria, Doria-Pamphili-Landi, Chigi-Albani, and Torlonia dynasties. Marina Torlonia di Civitella Cisi di Civitella was her paternal grandmother. She was the daughter of an American socialite and an Italian prince. Her great-uncle Alessandro Torlonia, an Italian nobleman was husband to Infanta Beatriz who was born in Spain. Teri was paid an amount by the family of Frank to end the pregnancy.
